Making Votive Candles

Making votive candles is usually a three step process that includes, heating up the glass containers to 110 degree from a cold oven then carefully securing the wick at the bottom of the container and finally pouring the wax after it is melted. That’s how simple it is. Actually, when you make votive candles, you are setting the wax directly into the glass container. You will be also required to make sure that while the wax sets in, the wick is kept straight. Use of double boiler is recommended since wax has a flash point. You can use thermometers to measure the heat.
Votive candles can be used for many interesting purposes like for instance, dinner settings, weddings, spa decoration and party occasions. It is a wonderful tool for decorative purposes.
