Cupcake Candles

Candles are of numerous types and that’s why the business of candle making is quite a lucrative one. It has come up a long way since the time candles were first invented. Old crayons that should be chopped into pieces.

Candle making supplies like wicks, wax, boiler and dyes etc.

Whisk.

Paper muffin cups (2-3 for one candle).

Now that you have collected the required materials, start by placing 2-3 paper cups into each other for strength. To create a strong base, you will need to use muffin tray or individual muffin molds. You can also grease them lightly though it is not necessary. The second stage is of melting the wax. For the muffin base, use a mix a dark or earthy colored dye. You can experiment with any color. It’s all up to your creativity.  One can use brown color to generate the real cake effect.

Now bring the prepared molds into action by pouring melted wax into them. Wait for some time to allow it to set. If you are making cupcakes for show-piece then you can decide against having wick else now is the time to use them. You should also focus on the frosting process. Melt wax and use a soft color to dye it. There are numbers of colors you can choose from like blue, cream, brown, pink, peach, green or yellow. Allow your creative instincts to go wild with your color combinations. Use whisk to whip the thin skin formed over the melted wax. Finally, sprinkle pieces of old crayons and your beautiful cupcakes are ready.
